In simple words, service is a special kind of thread and you should implement service as you are implementing a thread. In the example file, there is a compiled execute "service.exe", to install it run it using the parameter "/install" and uninstall it using parameter "/uninstall". If you want to build it yourself, an easy way is to create a new "Service Application", remove the default "Unit1.pas" generated and include the Unit1.pas file from the example. Then save the project and now you should be able to build it.
