TXDBGrid is a functional extension of standard TDBGrid. Assumption was that TXDBGrid should execute all standard TDBGrid functions and a few additional, which are turned on by Options or setting values for new properties. TXDBGrid is fully compatible with TDBGrid on properties level and can be used as a replacement without losing existing values. TXDBGrid has its own ColumnEditor, which can fully support all new properties.
Main posibilities of TXDBGrid:

Full handle for markers and multicolumn sorting (OrderFields)
Handling and showing Hints for titles, headers and filler
Handling and showing ToolTips for data cells
Handling and showing EditorHints for edited cells
Drawing pictures for titles and filler (TitleImages)
Drawing user defined markers list (TitleMarkers)
Drawing user defined indicators list (IndicatorImages)
Drawing user defined pictures list for any column (Images)
Individual handling PopupMenu for titles and filler
Alternative handling for SelectedRows by Checkboxes
Few first columns in grid may be unscrollable (FixedCols)
Changing styles for all fixed elements of grid (FixedStyle)
Indicator title may be handled as button (FillerButton)
Stretching columns to grid client area (StretchMode)
All cells in current/selected row can have own color

TXQRGrid is a complementary component for TXDBGrid designed for dynamic report creating on the grounds of TXDBGrid current settings and for printing and previewing content of TXDBGrid. TXQRGrid create in runtime complete report in QuickReport format. Report may be created in few parts (vertical bands) depend on selected paper size settings. Two versions of package X-Files Components are available: Standard or Professional. Professional version can save created report to files (XReportUnit.pas XReportUnit.dfm) as QuickReport source code. Saved report can be modified (or not) and added to Delphi project.

Preview and printing only records selected in XDBGrid
Additional band PageLegend printed on the end of report
Possibility to print PageTitle & PageLegend on each page
Report modification in event OnReportCreate
Controls modification in event OnPrint
